Well, mostly everyone. Call him Ted/Teddy and you will die. Former House: Slytherin 1991-1998 (I think; I’m crap with timelines and such) Age: 20 Birthday: February 7th 1980 Starsign: Aquarius Slytherin Aquarians are lucky. They have inner drive, determination, and great ambition; they also have brilliance, cleverness, and an almost total disregard for "what everybody thinks," which means they can go for their dreams without caring if other people mock them or consider them strange. More introverted and full of social conscience than the average Slytherin, these wizards are easily overlooked socially (by fools), although they excel in the classroom and eventually become great wizards indeed. They are stubborn and will not back down without a fight if challenged. PB: Gaspard Ulliel Wand: Nine inches, ebony, dragon heartstring. Bloodline: Pure-blood. Family Members: Mother is dead. Father still alive, but he doesn’t keep in contact with him at all. No siblings. Owl/Pets/Familiars: No pets. Place of Birth/Current Residence: Born in Nott Manor, currently living in London by himself. Patronus: A big, yet lithe and graceful, black domestic cat. Boggart: Himself, surrounded by his dead loved ones. Mirror of Erised: Himself, living with his close friends in an exotic country, and to have no mention of his past. To be happy, carefree and with no worries. Political View: Theo has always remained neutral towards everything, and that hasn’t changed. He didn’t care for Potter and his allies, but wasn’t particularly warm towards the Death Eaters. Then he learnt of the Reactionary Federation, and took an interest in it. He told Gwen, who decided to join, and Theo followed suit after a while. He realises the is the best course of action for now – but he never, ever, wants to get Marked. He isn't really sure where he stands at the moment - a lot based on the fact that Gwen wants to become a Death Eater, and he doesn't want that at all. Never. He seems to be leaning towards the Order, and that scares him somewhat. Allegiance: (DE, OoTP, RF, “Ministry”/Neutral, Undecided) Trying to remain neutral, but in the RF. Sexuality: Bi-sexual, but he prefers men a lot more. Appearance: Theo is average height (about 5'10") and quite skinny. He has light blue eyes and dark brown, medium-length straight hair. His features are pale and angular. He was never one for sports or such, and as a result has hardly any muscle. He's slim and small; quite graceful though. He walks with the easy confidence of a man who knows what he wants and how he's going to get it - even if he doesn't really. Personality: Theodore Nott is a paradox. While he comes off as cold and unfeeling at first glance, with people he trusts and likes he is extremely warm and funny. He has a few close friends who he probably trusts too much for a Slytherin. Only a few, though, for while he makes friends easily with most people who take an interest in him, not many people feel inclined to do so. Theo has a good, if somewhat dry, sense of humour. He doesn’t forgive easily and while he’s not quick to anger, when he does get angry – whoa, he gets angry. Hidden behind his usually immaculate mask of indifference lies a cunning, devious character. He’ll do what he needs to do to get the job done, although he’d rather get it using brains rather than brawn – Theo prefers not to get his hands dirty. Theo is extremely intelligent. It stemmed from spending all day in the library at Nott Manor, mostly to get away from his father. He is also a pretty good pianist – his mother taught him from when he was just six until she died, and he practised fiercely afterwards. Theo has good taste in drama, music and the arts. He is a refined character, which you might place down to his heritage, but you’d only be half right. He’s not one that holds his blood in high regard. In these times, he knows that he’s lucky and uses his blood status to his advantage, but he’s never been like Draco or Blaise – he knows that blood doesn’t make you a better person. Theo is independent and practical. He is careful with what he does, and thinks things through quite thoroughly before making any decision. When it comes to friends and family, though, he is quite impulsive. He hates being lied to or crossed over (which is pretty hard to avoid these days, unfortunately), and is usually honest with people. He doesn't like being lied to or things being kept from him - he knows everyone has secrets, but when he knows they have secrets and just aren't disclosing them, that's when it gets a bit iffy. He doesn’t care about offending anyone unless it means he'll be harming himself and/or his own interests. Theo knows when lies are better and isn’t afraid to use them, but those that know him well will know when he’s lying for he’s terrible at it – you just need to be able to spot the signs. He's quiet and quite serious, but get talking to him and he is pretty charming. He isn't clingy with his friends, though, and knows when people need space. He will participate in group chats with his friends, but he's not overly loud or anything (not like Pansy, for instance). He's more the one that works out the kinks in the plans other people come up with, and then refuses to partake in them. Theo likes to flirt and will use it when it will help him get somewhere. He can use sex as a weapon but doesn't usually - he can manipulate people in other ways, and enjoy sex a lot more then. He enjoys being free to chase whoever he wants but also likes the safe familiarity he has with people he's been with for a while, so open relationships are the key. He isn't really the jealous type. Theo hasn't had any terribly important past relationships, save for a few flings with Blaise Zabini and a longer "friends-with-benefits" relationship with Terry Boot. History: Theo was born and raised in Nott Manor by his mother and father until he was eight – which was the age he witnessed his father murdering his mother for not agreeing with his Death Eater views. Theo can't remember a lot of that night - only the sounds and the sight of his mother falling to the floor... Ever since then, his relationship with his father has been... strained, to say the least. Theo doesn’t trust, admire or love his father to any degree, and rebelled in small and satisfying ways – namely shagging blokes. Witnessing his mother dying is the reason theo can see Thestrals - which he doesn't really give much thought about. He's always been able to see them, and if he's honest, he rather likes them. They're aloof, mysterious, and intelligent, and Theo often feels they're on the same wavelength. Theo’s first few months at Hogwarts were pretty boring. He didn’t make any friends straight away and just studied, mainly. Theo had always stood on the sidelines, and liked it there. Eventually, though, he became friends with a few people, namely Gwen Rivers. From there, his social life improved somewhat. While he wasn’t a party animal, he did enjoy spending time with his friends and letting his hair down every once in a while – and being in Slytherin meant there were plenty of opportunities for that. He took Arithmancy, Ancient Runes and Muggle Studies for O.W.L. year as well as all the other subjects (he got a mixture of EEs and Os). He only really took Muggle Studies to piss his father off, and it certainly worked. He then continued Arithmancy and Ancient Runes for N.E.W.T. level. Theo watched Harry running around saving the world from, again, the sidelines. He didn’t particularly care for Harry or all of that nonsense, and was probably more Voldemort sympathetic than anything else. He didn’t act on his thoughts, though, and stayed neutral – which seemed to work out in the end. His father ran away into hiding after the battle, and left Theo the Manor, and money if Theo could be bothered to try and get into the accounts. Theo decided he could be bothered, damn the consequences, and bought a nice flat in the wizarding part of London. He joined the RF and is, albeit a bit reluctantly, going along with the whole Death Eater thing. He was offered a job at the Ministry, and took it – Theo was bored at home with nothing to do. Now, he spends his days reading, playing the piano, visiting friends and working (for both the RF and his actual job). Hobbies/likes: Reading, music, shagging blokes, spending time with friends, shagging blokes, playing the piano, walking, shagging blokes. Hates: Swimming/large bodies of water in general, not getting what he wants, being lied to. Friendships: Theo didn't make many friends at school, but he had a few. Namely: Gwen Rivers - they were friends from the start, and Theo enjoyed being around Gwen. She made him laugh and they got along well. They kept their friendship throughout school, and Gwen eventually persuaded Theo to join the RF. He did, albeit a bit reluctantly. Blaise Zabini - Blaise struck up conversation between them one day around the middle of first year, and they went from there. Blaise challenged Theo intellectually and made him laugh, and while they pissed each other off sometimes, mostly they were great friends. This soon progressed into something more around fourth year, but they never had sex until about seventh year, which actually surprised Theo. They kept in contact after school, and met up often. Terry Boot - Their friendship started in fifth year - they were in the same Arithmancy class, and got talking. They became quite good friends, which, in sixth year, progressed to something a lot more. In seventh year, Theo lost his virginity to Terry (on Theo's birthday, no less). They then were on a "friends with benefits" basis throughout sixth and seventh year, fucking often and staying quite good friends. They lost contact after school, though, as they went their separate ways during the war. Draco Malfoy - While they were never good friends, Theo and Draco did get along. Theo didn't kiss Draco's arse like Pansy and the rest of them, and him and Blaise stayed out of all Draco's "plans". Theo didn't enjoy Draco's big-headedness and Pureblood-supremacy-complex, and often left him alone when he started acting this way. Even with this, though, he mostly enjoyed Draco's company and worried about him when he started to change in sixth/seventh year.
